Located in Morretes, near the coast of Paraná, in the middle of the mountains, Ekôa offers an area of exquisite beauty that provides entertainment, well-being, environmental education and professional development.
The park was created with the intent to protect 238 hectares of native Atlantic Forest. Unfortunately, still is common to see private owned properties under the legal protection of the state, to suffer from invasions, illegal extraction of hearts of palm, deforestation, hunting, among other threats. For this reason, believing that it’s possible to change this scenario, the park was created to provide new opportunities of work to the local communities and offer relevant information about the biome.
Our mission is to promote environmental awareness and biodiversity conservation in a fun and curious way.
Ekôa is open to the public on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays for day use. During weekdays, only with prior reservation for groups, schools, companies and immersions.
